The milk house is another original building on the farmstead. The King family kept cows for milking and in 1901 had some 55 cows grazing on this property. Inside you will see a cream separator, milking machine and assorted equipment used for processing milk. The dairy industry was once a vital part of the local economy with a creamery operating for many years until closing in the late 1960s.
