Histories of noted San Juan Island families, industries, businesses and buildings are just a few examples of the extensive material available in our research library.

Our Research Library is open to the public by appointment only, due to limited staffing. We are not able to offer self-directed research. To schedule an appointment to conduct research or submit a specific request, please complete and submit the form below with as much detail as possible about the information you are seeking. Research fee is $25 minimum. Fees charged help defray the costs of operating the museum facilities. Please note the Museum cannot guarantee research results and requests may take an extended time to process.
