Friday Harbor Guided Walking Tour: Considering Post-War Architecture with Fresh Eyes

Post War or Recent Past architecture is often overlooked when considering historic preservation and local history. Ubiquitous buildings from the 40s, 50s, and 60s are so familiar that it can be difficult to understand the story they tell. Join Town of Friday Harbor historic preservation coordinator on a healthy walk through two residential neighborhoods with houses that help us understand America after World War II.
Tour participants should meet on the deck of Tucker & Harrison House B&B at Nichols & C Streets.
